Live productions we have crewed and equipped
These scenes show the settings we work in most often: temporary decks beside festival stages, streaming desks in venues and permanent control rooms. Each reflects how we plan, build and run a show.
Festival main stage vision desk
A temporary deck built beside the front-of-house position, with a multiviewer wall and a mixer cutting five cameras. Cabling was laid the day before so soundcheck could double as a camera rehearsal.
Concert streamed to an online audience
A compact encoding rack and switcher set up in a venue side room. Graphics were added to the programme and the outgoing stream was watched on a separate monitor all evening.
Small theatre control room fit-out
A former storeroom turned into a working control room with a monitor wall, intercom and a comfortable operator position. Cable routes were planned so the room stays tidy as kit changes.
Outside broadcast crew on site
A crew setting up a temporary control room beside a field stage, with camera cables run to a covered deck. Everything was labelled before the doors opened.
Replay and graphics position
An operator preparing lower-third captions and replay clips at a broadcast desk. Names and on-screen information were checked against the running order before the live feed began.
Show calling from the production desk
A director on headset calling camera and stage cues from the control room, script in hand. Clear, steady instructions kept the crew working to the same page.
